What was happening before opening Vibe?
Shira and Leon moved to Thailand after the end of COVID in the country. They found that Krabi was empty, and many shops were closed. After that, they started to travel and found many beautiful and peaceful places, and quickly fell in love with Krabi.
They also noticed that many tourists only knew the popular spots and often visited the same places again and again. But they knew that there are many more beautiful and peaceful places here. They started sharing about local places, food, and culture on social media pages, and many people showed interest and loved it. That love and passion became the start of Vibe.
What inspired you to start this place?

“I was inspired by my love for Krabi. I saw so many beautiful places that most people don’t know about, and I wanted to share them. It started from my passion to help travelers see the real Krabi and enjoy local life, food, and beaches.
Why did you name it "Vibe", and what does that name mean to you?

I named it Vibe because I wanted a name that feels friendly, warm, and full of energy. To me, it means a place where people can feel happy, relaxed, and enjoy the good energy of Krabi. Whether it is a tour or even a cafe, I want everyone to experience the good Vibe in Krabi.

Shira - Our Boss
Shira is CEO. She is very kind and has a chic style. She is full of energy and always smiles. Once you meet her, you will understand why our cafe is full of good vibes.
She really loves Krabi and is very passionate about it. She manages the office and tours, and also helps with customer service. If you are interested or have questions about Krabi, you can talk to her anytime.

Lookmai - Our Tour Office Agent
Lookmai is our tour agent! She’s cheerful, full of energy, and always makes everyone in the cafe laugh. She’s kind, and works on the second floor. You can go up to talk with her anytime. Lookmai knows a lot about traveling in Krabi, so if you want tips or ideas for exploring the area, don’t hesitate to ask her!
Lookmai’s favorite drink at our café : Medium roast Americano. She says the medium roast here has a perfectly balanced taste and brings out the coffee’s texture well. And she likes passion fruit coffee because the flavors go well together.

J - Barista
J – Barista
J is our barista and the oldest member of the team. He is kind, J has worked in many places and traveled to several countries. He was a bartender for about 17 years and also worked as a boat captain.
J makes every drink carefully. He is full of energy and fun, often joking and making people smile while working. When you see him making coffee, you can feel his energy and skill. The coffee smells good, and the taste is smooth – just like his style. Every drink he makes is tasty and made with care.
J’s favorite drink at our café : Ice latte with dark roast
A small tip from Jay for anyone planning to visit Krabi: I really recommend visiting Poda Island and Chicken Island because they’re close to the bay. The views are stunning and the nature is beautiful!
Fang - Barista
Fang is also our barista. She is sweet, kind, and always smiles. She takes her time with every drink, making sure every detail is perfect.
Her coffee is very tasty. Fang is very good at latte art and has a nice style. The coffee she makes smells good, has a smooth texture, and tastes really good.
Fang has a lot of experience and has worked in many places. If you want to taste really good coffee, don’t forget to try her drinks!

Namthip - Customer Service & Writer
Hi! I’m Namthip. I work in and help out in the cafe. I also love writing travel articles. I may be shy and quiet at first, but once we start talking, I can’t stop!
Namthip’s favorite drink at our café : Matcha latte with oat milk – I love it! The matcha here is smooth and goes really well with oat milk. Matcha lovers have to try it!
Tips from Namthip when you come to Krabi:
At night, walk and shop along Ao Nang street. There are many shops, like clothes, shoes, and cosmetics shops such as Watsons. You can also find many restaurants, but I recommend MAE RADA – Thai Cuisine & Bar. Don’t miss the night market at Ao Nang Landmark. There are many local food stalls and snacks to try. You can enjoy live music while sitting and eating there.
